Bio
'Boxing for me is a chance to perform under the light and showcase a sport that has helped me to gain confidence, strength in body and mind and pushed me to be the best I can be. It taught me that if you’re willing to work hard, dedicate yourself and love what you do you can go on to achieve things you never thought possible.’
From classical musician to World Champion and now 20 professional fights in, Hannah is focused on bringing a 3rd world title back to Scotland. She also a big advocate of using the sport of boxing to help communities globally, working as an ambassador for the social enterprise Boxwise and being a role model for the next generation coming through.
Background
Hannah Rankin started her professional boxing career in her 20’s whilst finishing a Masters in her first love - Classical Music.
Although a late starter to the sport of boxing, she has always had a love of combat sports competing in Taekwondo as a child alongside her sister. Hannah is the former WBA and IBO World Champion and 154lbs and has boxed all round the world on all the major platforms including DAZN, Sky Sports, BBC, Via Play and Fox Sports.
