PEDRO PHILIPPOU

This London-born masseur began his career in boxing, working alongside the likes of Lennox Lewis, Prince Nasseem Hamed and Colin Dunne, as well as Derek Chisora, whom he still works with today.

In total, Pedro was involved in 16 world title fights before moving to join the British Athletics team. Pedro was involved at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, as well as working at the European Championships and Commonwealth Games.

In 2005, he made his first move into the world of football, when he joined Chelsea. He stayed there for six years before leaving Stamford Bridge in 2011 to work with the British Men and Women’s Basketball teams at the 2012 Olympics. And in 2012, Pedro began working at his boyhood club Liverpool, and is also the sports Therapist for the Cyprus national football team.
